On March 10, the ASC25 Student Supercomputer Challenge announced its list of finalists. With the combined support of Nanjing University’s eScience Center and Information Technology Services Center, the NJU team emerged from over 300 teams in the preliminary round, achieving a historic breakthrough by advancing to the final for the first time.

In the final selection list, the NJU team secured the 12th position, marking their debut in the competition's final
During the preliminary round, contestants faced two major challenges: the detection of RNA methylation modification sites and the optimization of the AlphaFold3 model. These challenges merged high-performance computing with artificial intelligence, requiring teams to fully integrate both software and hardware environments, deeply explore platform potential, and maximize computational performance to provide support for solving complex scientific problems.
From May 10 to 14, the team will participate in the final at Qinghai University and vie for key awards such as the Champion, Silver Prize, Most Popular Team Award, e Prize, and the Highest Linpack Award.
